Bisley at Braidwood

Bisley at Braidwood is Scotland’s largest sporting clay shooting ground located on a stunning estate in the Scottish Borders just south of Edinburgh. The ground also has skeet, the country’s most versatile Pay & Play shoot and is home to the country’s first full-bore rifle pipe range.

Whether a complete novice or a seasoned pro, everyone is welcome for individual, shared, group or private events. We also host regular Young Shots & Ladies days. No experience necessary.

Bisley at Braidwood offers the same world-leading facilities and tuition as its sister club in Surrey and is a destination for all the family, offering:

Sandystones B&B

Come and stay at Sandystones and learn about life on a working farm. We rear Aberdeen Angus cattle, have a flock of organic free range hens, grow a variety of crops and even have a few Kune Kune pigs and a llama!

Our en suite bathrooms have plenty of hot water which will ensure that you have a wonderful nights sleep having had a day discovering the beauty of the Ale Water Valley.

Families welcome and stabling for horses is available.

Set in the private grounds of New Woll Estate are the Woll Golf Course, Restaurant and holiday cottages, perfect for a relaxing break in the Borders. Jammy Coo

Jammy Coo is a family run coffee shop and art gallery, situated in the centre of the Ale Water Valley. Our coffee shop has a unique atmosphere with fine art displayed on the walls and unique gifts and cards for sale.

We specialise in producing the very best home baked cooking, with light lunches, delicious cakes and tray bakes to eat in or take away. Family friendly and all dietary requirements catered for.

Jammy Coo has a wonderful cosy atmosphere, friendly staff and is ideally situated as a pit stop after a walk, ride or if you’re just popping in for a treat.

Ancrum Cross Keys

The Ancrum Cross Keys is a pub filled with character and characters, fuelled by exceptional beer and a fantastic atmosphere
